Presentation information

Oral presentations

There will be up to 4 selected oral presentations at the end of most parallel sessions. Selected oral presentations are formal 15 minute sessions with a 10 minute presentation, given in English, and 5 minutes for Q&A. Presenters are required to disclose any potential conflicts at the beginning of their presentation.

All presentations will need to be recorded ahead of the actual sessions (recording guidelines to be included soon) and the presenter also needs to be present for the duration of the live session during which their presentation is due.

Presenters will be asked to sign a disclaimer allowing the ESGCT to keep the recording on the Video on Demand (VOD) page of the congress for the duration of the congress and the following weekend.

Digital poster presentations

Abstracts are selected to be presented as posters are a critical part of our congress. We are very aware that the virtual experience for poster presentation is inferior to what we can expect from an in person poster session, but we hope that we've devised a solution that will allow you flexibility in the presentation style.  Our digital poster presentation experience will allow you to:

  • Prepare your poster without the constraints of A0 portrait format of a traditional poster, your presentation can take any form you wish from PowerPoint presentation to a more traditional poster.

  • Record your own presentation, including a narrated PowerPoint, and convert to mp4 to upload as a video.

  • Take advantage of the platform built-in live chat and direct messaging tools to engage with viewers and connect with attendees (this is not specific to the posters, it can be done generally through the virtual platform).
