As a member of the European and International Advocacy team since 2017, I contribute to European policy development and represents EURORDIS in all relevant policies that have an impact on people living with a rare diseasesI have a focus on development and access to therapies, with the goal of creating the right ecosystem for therapies development, reducing delays and inequalities, addressing the underlying challenges in the field of the value assessment, pricing and reimbursement of orphan medicines, and on current initiatives towards improved access.


I have been engaged in understanding challenges and opportunities on access to ATMPs such as gene and cell therapy across Europe - contributing to the set up and development of a patient led initiative to improve access to transformative therapies (RARE IMPACT). This three-years long experience gave me an accurate understanding of the challenges related to development of innovative medicinal products such as cell and gene therapies.
