Hamburg Half Marathon on Sunday 25 October
Please be aware that the Hamburg Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 25 October. Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place around the city centre, including the Congress venue area. Some bus routes will also be affected. Those travelling on Sunday are advised to use the subway (U-Bahn) or rapid transit trains (S-Bahn). Plane

S-Bahn line S1 takes you from Hamburg Central Station to the airport and back every 10 minutes with a journey time of 25 minutes each way. You can reach the S-Bahn station "Hamburg Airport (Flughafen)" directly from Terminals 1 and 2 (Arrivals) via elevators, escalators, and fixed stairs. One stop from Hamburg Airport at "Ohlsdorf" station, you have the option of changing to U1 underground line for a connection to the CHH at "Stephansplatz".

Taxis are available at the taxi stands in front of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 on arrival level. Payments in the taxis can be made in cash as well as card.
