To register for the ESGCT Congress, you will need to create a new registration account (even if you had an account for a previous event), and follow the steps to complete your registration. Once you have registered, you can submit abstracts and view and manage your event registration from your personal event portal.
In light of ongoing armed conflicts affecting biomedical, health and research communities worldwide, ESGCT reaffirms its strong support for swift, peaceful, and just resolutions grounded in international law and human rights. The ESGCT Congress is dedicated to fostering respectful and inclusive scientific exchange, and all delegates attending our congresses and events are expected to uphold and actively support these principles and the commitment to peace, dialogue and mutual respect.
Registration is in English and the congress currency is EURO €

Early-bird registration rates
All registrations receive the early-bird registration discount rate up to and including the day announced as the early-bird deadline. Payment for early-bird invoices are due within 2 weeks of the invoice date; any that remain unpaid by 31 May 2026 will be moved to the standard congress registration rate.

Abstract submissions
Once you have registered for the Congress, you can submit and manage your abstract(s) via the online registration portal.
Delegates must be registered for the congress prior to submitting an abstract. Registrations must be paid for based on the general payment guidelines for all registrations; however those submitting abstracts can avail of a full refund should their abstract not be selected for oral or poster presentations and the delegate no longer wishes to attend the congress.

Student Member complimentary registration
ESGCT Student Members who are presenting authors of an abstract accepted for an oral or poster presentation can receive complimentary registration to the ESGCT Annual Congress. For this to be valid, individuals must:

Have an active and paid ESGCT Student Membership subscription in place;

Have registered for the Congress before submitting any abstracts;

Have registered and submitted their abstract(s) before the Early-Bird registration and abstract submission deadline. Any Student Member registrations received after this date would be at the full Student Member registration rate.

Payment information
Payment by credit or debit card is preferred and will ensure your registration is activated immediately; our payment services are handled by STRIPE. Please note that you do NOT need to have an account with STRIPE in order to use this service.

Payments by bank transfer must be received within 2 weeks of your invoice date.

Early-bird registrations must be paid in full by 2 weeks after the early bird deadline otherwise they will be changed to the regular congress rate.

All unpaid registrations for which correspondence has not been received 10 days before the event will be cancelled.

Invoicing
If you choose to pay by invoice, you will receive your invoice as an email attachment with your registration confirmation email. You can also download your invoice via your online registration portal. PLEASE NOTE that no separate invoices will be created or sent by the congress office.

Cancellation and substitution information
Partial refunds are offered for cancellations received up to 20 days before the event. Please note the percentage of refund available is dependent on the amount of notice received. See our Registration Cancellation Policy outlined in the Registration Terms and Conditions for full details.

​Molecular Mingle tickets
Tickets for the main congress networking event, the Molecular Mingle, must be bought in advance, either at the same time as you register or at a later date. Tickets cost €50 per delegate.

Certificates
After the Congress, delegates will be emailed with details regarding Certificates of Attendance and Certificates of Presentation (where applicable).
