After completing her PhD at the CRTD in Dresden, Dr. Benedetta Artegiani joined as postdoc the lab of Hans Clevers in Utrecht, a pioneer in organoid technology. Since 2020, she has been a group leader at the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht, jointly with Dr. Delilah Hendriks. The Artegiani-Hendriks group focuses on unravelling aspects of human developmental mechanisms and shared similarities with early transformation events towards cancer, by establishing and using novel human organoids as primary models.
