Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Valencia, she leads the Molecular Neurobiology Lab and is part of the Center for Biomedical Research in Network on Neurodegenerative Diseases. Her research focuses on neural stem cell quiescence, supported by major grants including an ERC Advanced Grant in 2023. A board member of several scientific societies and former president of the Life Sciences panel of the Spanish Granting Agency, she is an EMBO member and 2024 National Research Awardee.
