Zoya Ignatova
University of Hamburg
Zoya Ignatova is a Professor of RNA Biochemistry at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Her independent scientific career started at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich. Thereafter, she joined the University of Potsdam as Associate Professor and in 2014 University of Hamburg as a Full Professor. Her research focuses on translational control in health and disease. Recent work is dedicated to development of tRNAs as therapeutics for treatment of various human genetic pathologies.
