Mario Leonardo Squadrito is Group Leader at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget). He earned his PhD from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and the Open University, and completed his postdoctoral training at EPFL. His research focuses on engineering lentiviral vectors for in vivo gene therapy, with an emphasis on targeting immune cells in cancer. His team integrates vector design, tumor models, and omics technologies to develop innovative and effective gene therapies for cancer treatment.
