Francesco Testa

Dr. Francesco Testa is Full Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Naples, Italy. His academic activities are focused on inherited retinal diseases, with particular expertise in genotype-phenotype correlation analysis and gene therapy. He has served as co-investigator in numerous international clinical trials addressing Leber congenital amaurosis, Stargardt disease, Usher syndrome, and retinitis pigmentosa. He is responsible for patient care at the Centre for Rare Ocular Diseases, an expertise centre of ERN-EYE.
