Ruiz Astigarraga, Head of EU Technical Operations at Galapagos, is responsible for operations and expansion of the cell therapy decentralized manufacturing network in EU and UK. This innovative platform has been serving CAR-T patients with one week vein-to-vein time in clinical trials. Ruiz has previously worked at Kite and Novartis, building extensive experience in GMP manufacturing of cell & gene therapies, biologics and vaccines at commercial manufacturing facilities in Europe, US, Asia and South America.
