Federico Mingozzi is the Chief Science & Technology officer at Spark Therapeutics. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology and his Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Ferrara in Italy. His career includes prior roles at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM), and Genethon. Federico has contributed to the field of in vivo gene therapy with several publications and was involved in pioneering first-in-human clinical studies of gene therapy based on the AAV vector platform.
