Dr. Anderson is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Aab Cardiovascular Research Institute at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY and is affiliated with the Center for RNA Biology: From Genome to Therapeutics and the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology. His team is focused on understanding the regulatory pathways important for heart and skeletal muscle biology and how defects in those pathways can result in disease. Dr. Anderson holds numerous patents and has co-founded two biotech startups, Scriptr Therapeutics and Emprime Therapeutics. Dr. Anderson serves as Chief Scientific Officer for Scriptr Therapeutics.
