Dr. Ricardo Dolmetsch has served as uniQure’s President, Research & Development since September 2020 leading their gene therapy research activities, plus nonclinical development, process development, analytical development, and vector development. His previous work also focused on leading the development of treatments for neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and Ph.D. in neuroscience from Stanford University, and conducted his postdoctoral training at Harvard University Medical School and Children’s Hospital Boston.
