Gustav Emilsson is an Associate Principal Scientist in the Advanced Drug Delivery group at AstraZeneca. He joined AstraZeneca in 2018 as a postdoctoral researcher. Since 2021, his work has focused on developing AstraZeneca’s internal lipid nanoparticle platform for gene editing, vaccines, and cell therapy. He specializes in formulation development and physicochemical/biophysical characterization of nucleic acid therapeutics, as well as CMC aspects including analytics, stability, and process development
