Bernhard Gentner holds the chair of Oak Professor in Immune-Stem Cell Engineering and is a senior attending physician in the Immuno-Oncology Unit at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and Department of Oncology, University of Lausanne (UNIL) and Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), Switzerland. He is also a consultant for the HSC gene therapy program at SR-Tiget, Milano, Italy. His interest lies in genetically engineering hematopoietic cells to cure genetic diseases and rewire antitumor immunity.
