My current research activities are focused on the development of targeted lipid-peptide nanocomplexes for the delivery of messenger RNA and short interfering RNA therapies for respiratory diseases including cystic fibrosis (CF) and primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD). Our messenger RNA (mRNA) therapies include protein replacement therapy for CCDC39-deficient PCD and mRNA encoding base editors. In addition, we develop in vitro and in vivo airway models and phenotypic assays for testing these therapies
