Steve Horvath is a computational biologist and biostatistician known for developing the Horvath epigenetic clock and related biomarkers of aging, including GrimAge and pan-mammalian clocks. His work has transformed how researchers measure biological age using DNA methylation. He is founder of the Epigenetic Clock Development Foundation and previously served as professor at UCLA for 22 years and as a researcher at Altos Labs. His current research focuses on epigenetic rejuvenation therapies.
