Dr. Sumathi Iyengar is a pediatrician and Co-Founder & Executive Director of the Wiskott-Aldrich Foundation. For nearly two decades, she has advanced global research, patient advocacy, family education, and clinical collaboration in Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome (WAS). Her work focuses on bringing together patients, clinicians, researchers, industry, and regulators to accelerate the development and accessibility of innovative therapies, including gene therapy. She also leads international initiatives to improve standards of care and treatment access worldwide.
