Silvana Libertini is an Associate Director in Preclinical Safety at Novartis (Basel), where she focuses on assessing genomic safety risks of advanced therapies, including CAR-T cells, CRISPR/Cas9, and AAV-based gene therapies. She obtained her PhD in Molecular Oncology and Endocrinology from the University of Naples and trained at the Beatson Institute (UK) on DNA damage and tumorigenicity. Her work centers on developing advanced in vitro models to study integration and genotoxic risk.
