PD Dr. Michael Rothe is a group leader at the Institute of Experimental Hematology at Hannover Medical School in Germany and conducts research on the safety of gene therapy. His research group develops new methods to assess the genotoxic risk of retroviral vectors, investigates hematopoietic stem cell biology, and performs clinical integration site monitoring for different types of vectors.
