Dr Spencer is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Emory University, where he is the Director of the Cell and Gene Therapy Program within the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center and the Co-Director of the Center for Pediatric Cellular Therapies in the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. He is also the President and Co-founder of Expression Therapeutics. His research focuses on the development of cell and gene therapies for childhood cancer and inherited diseases.
