The Congress takes place in the Tour & Taxis complex where we will use various buildings in the complex

Tour & Taxis began as Europe’s largest shipping and customs hub, with beautiful warehouses built at the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth centuries. These buildings are exemplary example of industrial architecture, as well as of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. They’ve been given a new life as part of a major project for sustainable urbanisation.

Maison de la Poste bears witness to Brussels’ rethought industrial heritage. Once the post office for the multi-modal transit and logistics hub that Tour & Taxis was in its industrial heyday.

The sheds are a masterpiece of civil engineering with their sawtooth roof made of glass and its metal frame. From the early 1900s through the 1970s this space was used to store imports arriving at Tour & Taxis via the Gare Maritime. When the site fell into disuse in the ‘80s and ‘90s, the Sheds lost their functionality, until renovations in the 2000s turned them into an epicentre for cultural events in Brussels
